B2 -Twin’s best friend from HS, 1/4 of the McFadden’s/Bills Backers group on Sundays during football season. She calls everyone “Baby”, has incredible confidence, and is very tall and very hot.
Baby D and Baby J - Littlest little brothers, ages 6 and 4. They live in Chicago with Dad and Stepmom and won’t get much mention throughout the blog but need a spot on this page because they are the greatest little guys in the world.
Blog Twin - Bethis. Enough said.
BoyB - Best guy friend from HS, lives in Brooklyn. One of the few guys with whom I’ve managed to remain close friends without ever once dating or hooking up in any way
Bex -My Brooklynite Other Half, met during our semester in France. We were born 6 months apart in the same hospital. See why I love her here.
C – Defines awesome. We met here in NYC through mutual friends of friends, etc. Has the best dating/hookup/drunken stories of anyone I’ve ever met.
Frere – Biggest little brother, age 22. My best friend and confidant; I can talk to him about anything. He has no idea how amazing, intelligent, thoughtful, and incredibly cool he is.
J – Best friend from Chicago. My only other redhead friend. We met in 5th grade as 10 year-old locker buddies and discovered our dads have the same birthday.
J2 - B2’s coworker and close friend. Another 1/4 of the McFadden’s/Bills Backers group on Sundays during football season. She is slightly dating-retarded in the most endearing way. Also a genuine sweetheart.
K – Another best friend from college, met sophomore year when we joined the same sorority. Blunt, sarcastic, she will tell it like it is. Sometimes comes off as bitchy, but is actually incredibly genuine and thoughtful.
L - Close friend from elementary school in Chicago, recently reconnected when she moved to Brooklyn last summer. Now we’re new-old friends.
Little – Sorority little sister, recently single, always fabulous. An all-around amazing girl.

R1 – Best friend from HS and current roommate. We met at 15 and are now more like sisters than Best Friends.
R2 – Other current roommate and R1’s college roommate, met through R1 but like to make up stories of how we met independently of R1 and see how outrageous the stories can get.
SalonFriend/SF – Quintessential Random Friend. We met waiting in line for cheap walk-in haircuts, ended up chatting for 2 hours, exchanged #s, and the rest is history!
Twin – Current and past coworker, best friend in NYC. We are pretty much inseparable and could not be together more often unless we lived together, in which case we would likely murder each other
Vacation Buddy/VB –Most hilarious coworker, lives near Twin, and provides endlessly entertaining commentary at the office. A group of us met up for 2 days on vacation in Rincon last year.
TMC, Tall One, Shy One, etc – some of many nicknames for guys with whom I have been in any way involved. If they make this list, they likely have Zs in front of their names in my phone.
